JANUARY
Thursday 28th 10.00am - 5.00pm - Tombola stall in the Newgate Centre,
Bishop Auckland. Please come along and see us.
Saturday 30th 9.00am - 1.00pm - St Catherines Community Centre, Crook
Kayshill is holding a jumble sale, please come along and see us.
FEBRUARY
Thursday 11 10.00 - 4.00pm Tombola stall in the Newgate Centre,

Saturday 13th 8.00pm-Middlestone Moor WMC singer Ron Spence will be singing
a selection of songs mainly from the 50's 60's and some country.
Tickets are £6.00 and there is a free light finger buffet.

Sunday 11th - Kayshill Sping fayre open day. 11.00am - 3.00pm
Please come to the santuary and have a look around and the
animals in our care at the moment that are available for adoption.
Friday 16th 7.30 - 11.00pm Sandra Allen Sound Band will be playing at Glaxo
Sport and Social Club. Tickets are £3.00. There will be a raffle and

Saturday 17th 7.30 - 11.00pm Cockton Hill WMC in Bishop Auckland.
Country and Western night with Rambling Bob and
DJ Angel Disco. Come along in your saloon girl get up
or simply jeans and shirt if you wish.
Tickets are £5.00 and there is a free buffet. There is a raffle
and Tombola. Please ring the sanctuary for tickets. I am
sure it will be a great night.

Saturday 9th - 7.00pm Cockton Hill W.M.C Bishop Auckland 60's and 70's night with SOS
tribute band. Fancy dress optional. Tickets are £6 adult and £4 children

***Fundraising update**** 2009
All of us at Kays Hill would like to thank everyone who supported our charity night at Cockton Hill Club in Bishop Auckland on Friday 27th February. We raised an amazing total of £622 which will all go towards our building fund!
Special thanks, of course, go to Cherish - who were superb (as always). We would also like to thank Jeanette for providing a fantastic buffet (which everyone enjoyed) and to everyone who dug deep. We had a wonderful time and we hope that you did too! Watch this space for our next event!
***Latest fundraising event (Country & Western Night at Cockton Hill Club on Saturday
6th June) raises a staggering £365. Our thanks go to Amanda, her family and friends for
organising such a fantastic event. Particular thanks go to Amanda's mum for managing the
catering. Everyone had a brilliant time - photos will be uploaded soon***
4th July - We held a tombola stall at Spennymoor Gala. We raised £192. Thank you to all that contributed.
Friday 14 August 2009 - We held a charity night at Cockton Hill Working club, Bishop Auckland. Special thanks to Cherish for the entertainment and everyone came and donated. We raised £105.
Saturday 15 August 2009 - We had a stall at Shildon Carnival and raised £58. Thank you to all that donated.
December 13 2009 - Open day at the sanctuary 11.00-4.00pm. We raised nearly £300. THANK YOU TO LUCY FIELDSON WHO BAKED AND DONATED THE DOG BISCUITS TO SELL

holding the tombola and raising £53.40
30 January - Jumble Sale at St. Catherine thank you to Doreen. We raised over £100.
11 February - Tombola Stall at Newgate Street, Thank you again to Becki and Julia for holding
a tombola and rasing £ 46.20
13 February - Middlestone Moor WMC A big thank you to the following;
Chris at Fifty3 Bistro, Spennymoor for the meal for 2 donation
Julie's florist,Spennymoor for the donation of a beautiful boquet
Keith Bone, Iceland Bishop Auckland for the food donation for the buffet
John and Lorna from Buffalo Bill Lane Dancing Club, Shildon for their continued support
and donation and to everyone who turned up on the evening to make the event a success.
After deduciting outgoings to stage the event a magnificent total of £494.46 was raised.
The Sanctuary survives on donations from our many supporters. We have added PayPal to our site to make it easier for you to help us. Please give generously.
We will update you via this site as to how our fundraising is doing and what we are spending the money on!
